
MVES - PRE-K REGISTRATION THIS FRIDAY!! If your child will be 3 on or before August 1, 2025, he or she may register for Pre-K!! Please bring your child's birth certificate, Social Security card, current immunization records, and your 2024 tax returns or proof of employment to the Kindergarten Center on Friday, March 7. Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis and must have all documents to be complete.


MVES - It's here! Will your child be 5 before or on August 1, 2025? Then we can't wait to meet them at KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION on MARCH 7, 2025. Please bring your child, their birth certificate, Social Security card, and immunization record. All incoming students who did not attend our Pre-K will be screened during registration. Please be prepared for a brief wait. If you do not live in the Mountain View School District and/or you would like for your child to attend our campus, you may fill out School Choice paperwork at the superintendent's office by May 1, 2025. We look forward to seeing all of our incoming Yellowjackets on Friday, March 7 from 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.

MVES - Addison was the first student to complete the entire Keyboarding Without Tears program. She has worked very diligently, spending all of her free time working extra on assignments. So proud of Addison!

MVES - If your child is missing a coat, please come by and check our Lost and Found! We have several nice coats hanging around just waiting to go play! Please write your child's name in their coats, jackets, and sweatshirts so that we can make certain they are returned.


MVES - Mrs. Lisa Williams from Save the Children's Early Steps to School Success will be reading a story and conducting an activity with the preschoolers every Friday. She is pictured reading the book "The Mitten" and working on vocabulary with our preschoolers. Through this book, they have learned words such as "burrow," "admire," "talons," and "investigate." If you would like to enroll your child (ages birth to 5) in the Early Steps to School Success program, please email Mrs. Lisa at lwilliams@mvschools.net for more information.


MVES - The day you get to wear pajamas to school is one of the best days before Christmas vacation, and sometimes, you even match!!

MVES - So proud of our fourth graders production of "Mrs. Claus and the Great Elf Rebellion" this past Tuesday. Such a talented group and kudos to Mrs. McCool for the bringing out the Christmas cheer from all of the performers!!




MVES - Mrs. Lopez and her second graders had a Polar Express party, complete with tickets and hot cocoa! They also made graham cracker houses as they ushered in Christmas break!

MVES - Second graders in Mrs. Blake's class decorated their desks for Christmas and made fun cotton ball snowball throwers!

"Mrs. Claus and the Great Elf Rebellion" premieres TONIGHT at 6:00 in the multi-purpose building. Doors open at 5:45. All elves need to report at 5:30. Can't wait to see you there!!
