The People's Library at Fox posted the following. It's a great honor for our students to be selected to help with this.
We had a wonderful paint day today with the students from Rural Special School! This is part of the Civic Imagination Station pilot for the American Library Association and part of our Rural Creative Placekeeping Collaborative Exchange project with Olivia Trimble. Many thanks to Stone Bank for supporting these students and the community through this project as well! We’ve been working with Olivia and the students over the past months to develop a community message mural while increasing digital literacy and community action. The message they wanted to send, “Acceptance is expected here, KINDNESS is required.” It’s been such a pleasure and learning experience working with this group, who is our largest demographic at the library. They truly are helping make TPL their own. So proud of them! We’ll do a mount and unveil later this month at the library. Stay tuned!

Mountain View School Pantry will have a food box distribution tomorrow, March 2, at the Mountain View Kindergarten building. Boxes will be distributed to families of MVSD students from 4:00-5:30 or until all boxes have been handed out.

Due to the heavy rains, flash flooding, and some roads being washed out, some Mountain View School District buses may not be able to access some areas of regular routes tomorrow.
If you live in an area prone to flooding, please be prepared to make arrangements for alternate bus stops or transportation to school.
