
MVES - Blended Learning Day Reminders:
*Students may attend school on campus or may learn from home.
*Buses will run regular routes.
*Students who choose not to attend school on campus are required to do the following:
1. Log into your Google Classroom each school day. (Teachers may require students to be present online at a specific time for an activity.)
2. Complete and properly submit assignments on time.
3. Contact teacher(s) via email or Google Classroom with any questions.
4. Check student school email account throughout the day for updates or responses from the teacher(s).
*Students who are working from home and do not complete their work may be counted absent and may receive a zero (0) for each incomplete assignment. Students who are completing assignments on time and with appropriate effort will not be counted absent.
*We are continuing assignments and tests as we would if we were in school. Assignments will be posted for all week. Students are responsible for completing and submitting all work on time. Students have practiced this in the classroom. Students are welcomed to attend school in person if they are not comfortable working at home.
*The process of learning from home varies by teacher, grade level, and subject area. Please maintain communication with individual teachers.
*Kindergarten students will only work on a paper packet. Grades 1, 2, 3, and 4 may require a combination of online and paper packet.
*Please contact the school at 870-269-3104 if you need to pick up materials.

MVES - This is a reminder that MVES will be practicing Blended Learning December 7-11. Our students may attend school or learn from home. If a parent chooses for their child to be at home this week and you have NOT picked up your child’s Chromebook and/or packet, you must come by the elementary school tomorrow, Monday, December 7.
Mountain View Pre-K will be following their regular schedule December 7-11.

Due to an increase number of COVID-19 cases and close contacts within the Mountain View School District, we will be going to blended learning days, tomorrow Thursday, December 3rd and Friday, December 4th, allowing students the option of doing their classwork from home. Students and or parents will be able to pick up meals from 1:15 to 2:30 Thursday, December 3rd for both days. We hope this will help slow the cases in our schools, and we appreciate your patience as we all deal with this pandemic. This will include all Mountain View campuses and the Timbo campus..


USDA Food Distribution will be from 12 - 2 on Friday, December 4th at Flatwoods Baptist Church.


Meals for virtual students for this week will be distributed tomorrow from 9AM until 11 AM at the following locations.
Mountain View Elementary, in front of the elementary school. Mountain View Middle and High School at the teardrop and
Timbo in front of the cafeteria.

The Rural Special campuses will pivot to virtual learning this week. Beginning tomorrow, all Rural Special students will log into Google classroom via their chrome books. No on site learning will take place on the Rural Special campuses through December 4th. Meals for the week will be distributed Monday from 1:30 until 3 PM behind the cafeteria. Thank You.

The Rural Special campuses will pivot to an all virtual setting for the week of November 30th through December 4th. This means all Rural Special students will log into Google classroom via their chrome books during the week. There will be no on site learning at Rural Special next week. Meals for the week will be distributed on Monday from 1:30 until 3 PM behind the cafeteria. Thank you.

The Rural Special campuses K through 12, will pivot to digital learning for the week of November 30th through December 4th. This means all Rural Special students should log into their classes via Google classroom on their chrome books next week. There will be no on site learning at Rural Special next week.
Lunches for the week will be distributed from 1:30 PM until 3 PM Monday, November 30th behind the cafeteria.

There is currently a Thanksgiving Food distribution happening at First Baptist and Flatwoods Baptist churches in Mountain View. Drive thru distribution will continue until 6 PM on a first come first serve basis.

There will be a Thanksgiving Food distribution tonight beginning at 5:00 PM until 6 PM at the following locations: Flatwoods Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Mountain View. It will be on a first come first serve basis until the food runs out.

This means students will have the option of staying home and working on assignments via Google Classroom on their Chromebooks. Students who plan to stay home, should log onto Google Classroom. If you prefer your student to attend traditionally in the classroom like they have been, on-site instruction will be available. For those students that choose to attend in person, all school services will be provided and breakfast and lunch will be served.
Mountain View Elementary school will be following their regular schedule on Friday. Mountain View Elementary students will be required to make up any work if they are not at school on Friday.
Meals for Virtual students for next week can be picked up Friday at the following times and locations: Mountain View Elementary from 9 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. in front of the elementary school. Mountain View Middle and High Schools from 9 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the teardrop. Timbo Schools from 9 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. in front of the cafeteria. Rural Special Schools from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. behind the cafeteria. Thank You.

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Thursday, November 5th in the Mountain View School District. Thursday will also be a Blended Learning Day for the district. This means students can attend in person or virtually via Google Classroom. For those that choose to attend in person, all services will be provided and breakfast and lunch will be served. Buses will run as normal.
