All Mountain View School District schools will start late at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 9. Morning bus stops and morning student drop off will be 2 hours later than the normal time. School will end at 3:00 p.m. as usual.

The Mountain View School District will not be in session on Tuesday, February 8 due to bad road conditions. This will officially be an AMI day.

In coordination with the Arkansas Department of Health and DESE, beginning Monday, February 7 the Mountain View School District will no longer contact trace and quarantine students/staff considered close contacts to a COVID 19 positive case. Those who are currently quarantined & test to stay, may return Monday the 7th.
All COVID positive cases will still have to isolate for a 5 day minimum. If your child is sick, please keep them home until they have been fever free for 24 hours.

Mountain View School Food Pantry will have a food box distribution tomorrow, January 27th, at the Mountain View Kindergarten building. Boxes will be distributed from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. or until all boxes have been handed out.

The Mountain View School District will not be in session tomorrow, January 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Due to an increase in our student absences, Mountain View School District will pivot to Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Days on January 12, 13, and 14. Students should do work sent home by their teacher or in Google Classroom. All school buildings on all campuses will be closed and all extracurricular activities are canceled through January 17. Buses will not run

The Mountain View School District Board of Education, at its regular meeting tonight, voted to make the wearing of masks optional in school buildings and at events on every campus. This will begin immediately.
However, Masks will continue to be mandatory on all school buses in the district.

Due to the Arkansas Department of Health and achi.net not updating Covid 19 data due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Mountain View School District will remain mask optional in all buildings across the district for the week of November 29 through December 3.
