Every week our administrators share our WEEK AT A GLANCE with teachers! We want to share this with our students and parents also! You will find important information on the flyer attached. This is a weekly overview which is subject to change. It will include any schedule changes, athletics/club events & celebrations of our students! Thanks for sharing your kids with us! All MVSD schools will start at 10 am tomorrow morning due to probable early morning hazardous road conditions. School usually starts at 7:50, so buses will be at their regular stops 2 hours and 10 minutes later than they usually are. Doors will open at 9:40 for breakfast. We apologize for the disruption to our regular routine. MVSD appreciates your cooperation and contribution to our community-wide effort to prioritize student safety.
All MVSD schools will dismiss at noon today. Winter weather has been reported in our area, and more (including freezing rain) is likely on the way. With that in mind, our intention is to make sure students are able to return home safely. The noon dismissal time will put buses at their respective stops 3hrs and 20mins early today. Thank you for your cooperation.
REMINDER: No School for K-12 students on Friday 11/7. Teachers will be participating in a professional development day on all MVSD campuses. All ballgames that are scheduled for Friday night will still take place and Pre-K will still be in session on Friday as well. Enjoy the 3-Day weekend!
Ms. Shelton's bus (bus 19 Big Flat to Mtn. View route) will be around 45 mins late today due to a mechanical issue. We will run the route, but parents on this route are encouraged to bring their children to school if possible this morning. Students that do ride this bus will not be counted tardy/absent. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience this morning.
Reminder for this week's schedule:
Today: School will dismiss at 1:40pm. All afternoon bus routes will be at their stops 1 hour and 40 minutes earlier than they usually are. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be tonight 3-7pm on all campuses.

The domestic situation referred to in the previous post has been resolved by local police. MVSD will now be resuming regular procedures at school. MVSD would like to thank parents, police, and concerned community members for their patience and help in this matter.
We are currently on soft lockdown due to a domestic situation happening in the county. We are keeping students inside to ensure their safety. There is no incident happening at school and no threat to the school. We have officers patrolling school grounds and will continue to send info

MVSD Open House Schedule: Monday 8/4 6pm: Open House for only MV 5th grade students/parents at MVMS. Thursday 8/7 6-6:30pm: MVSD Report to the Public at MVHS gym. This will be live-streamed to RS and Timbo. Thursday 8/7 6:30-8pm. Open House for all MVSD Schools. Doors open at 6:30pm
