Welcome back! The first day of the 2024-25 school school year across the Mountain View School District is Tuesday, August 13. Buses will be running their regular routes however, some of the Highway 14 bus routes toward Pleasant Grove, may be delayed due to the construction work and traffic lights that are in place in that area. Please be patient as they continue to upgrade Highway 14.
We look forward to getting the year kicked off in a positive manner so jump in, hang on and get an education!

Interested in Substituting? ESS will be back on campus Monday for anyone who needs help finishing their paperwork, uploading documents, and/or completing fingerprints for the background checks. ESS will be able to answer any additional questions regarding substituting. Please remember to bring I-9 acceptable documents as well as proof of education (minimum qualifications: GED or HS diploma).

Join Our Team: Become a Substitute Teacher! Substitute teacher training for the Mountain View School District (for all 3 campuses) will be Thursday, August 8th from 12-3pm at the MVHS library. Fingerprints will be done onsite for background checks. Requirements:
🍎 Proof of High School Diploma/GED required.
🍏 Must pass FBI/DHS background checks
🍎 Bring I-9 acceptable documents to the training.

Dear Parent,
Arkansas State Law governing school attendance states that students turning 16 are required to have the 2nd dose of Menactra after their 16th birthday. This can be obtained at the Health Department by calling (870) 269-3308 and scheduling an appointment or attending the Back to School Clinic on Tuesday, July 30th from 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Please provide proof to the school or let the school nurse know when the immunization has been obtained.
If your student had an exemption last school year, you must reapply this summer to the Arkansas State Department of Health for an exemption for the up coming school year. Exemptions are only good for one school year.

Mountain View School Pantry is having a food box distribution tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26th, at the Mountain View Kindergarten building. Boxes will be distributed to qualifying families of MVSD students starting at 3:30 until all boxes have been handed out.
